Information Science

I created this blog originally as a classroom assignment (LIS 750 in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois) to investigate information retrieval and search engine optimization (SEO). Along the way we discussed various topics in information science and now although the course is complete, the blog continues. It will continue to cover topics in information literacy, information retrieval, knowledge management, organizational learning and related topics, basically as a place to reblog and comment on postings from other WordPress sites.

I’m Valeria L. Hunter and since beginning this blog I have earned the MLIS and started an independent information service consulting firm, Hunter Knowledge and Insights. Take a look at my GSLIS e-portfolio and my information education and conference blog. Use the tabs to navigate all content and send me feedback using the contact form on the Contact page.
